Jay Curley

Jay Curley is vice president of corporate affairs at Coverys. He oversees corporate affairs activities to advance corporate strategy and assure that Coverys is strongly positioned in its market space. He is responsible for engagement activities in the areas of public affairs, public relations, community relations, marketing, government relations, sales support and internal and external corporate communications. 

With more than 30 years’ experience in public affairs, government relations, policy development, marketing, and communications in both the public and private sectors, he joined Coverys from Jay Curley & Associates, a strategic public affairs and external relations consulting firm.

Previously, Jay was with Beacon Health Options, a national behavioral health management company, where he served as the executive vice president of corporate affairs and chief of staff. Prior to that, he was the chief government and public affairs officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Before his work with Blue Cross, Jay held numerous leadership positions in the public sector and established his reputation through his work on important healthcare and insurance policy initiatives. He has actively contributed to his community as a respected board member of numerous business trade organizations, public policy interest groups, and as a three-term gubernatorial appointee to the Massachusetts Children’s Trust. 

Jay earned his B.A. in political science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and his J.D. from New England School of Law.
