Edward Lyons

Edward Lyons is vice president, physicians underwriting at Coverys. He joined Coverys in 2014 with a distinguished career spanning over 35 years in the medical malpractice insurance industry. Prior to his present role, Ed served as senior vice president of Coverys Specialty Insurance Company. 

Throughout his career, Ed has held various leadership positions that showcased his expertise and commitment to excellence. He has successfully navigated the intricate landscape of medical malpractice insurance while fostering lasting relationships with healthcare professionals and insurance partners. Ed's strategic vision and unwavering dedication to providing innovative solutions have positioned him as a trusted authority in the field. Before Coverys, Ed held key underwriting roles at Arch Capital and Saint Paul Insurance.

Ed attended Penn State University and earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration and management at Misericordia University.
